What's new in Cue

Shipped, not promised. Everything notable lands here, newest first.

  1. Improved

    Brand kits, rebuilt

    • Brand kits now hold a logo, role-based colors (primary, accent, background), and module shapes — composed into a complete QR style with a live preview and scannability checks while you edit.
    • Mark a kit as your organization's default; it surfaces first in the designer and on the Brand Kit page.
    • Applying a kit in the designer now applies the full saved style — shapes and logo included — with real QR previews on every kit tile.
    • Kits are fully editable after creation, and deleting one asks for confirmation.
  2. New

    Launch

    • Cue is generally available. Dynamic QR codes, the visual designer, campaigns, and real-time analytics are open to everyone on a free plan.
    • Pro, Business, and Enterprise plans are live with transparent pricing — no per-scan surprises.
    • Every dynamic code gets a short link that redirects in under a tenth of a second, anywhere in the world.
  3. New

    Public API and webhooks

    • A developer API to create, list, and update QR codes and pull scan numbers from your own systems.
    • Webhooks that notify your other tools the moment a code is created or changed — securely signed, so they can be trusted.
    • Every automated change is rate-limited and recorded in the audit log.
  4. Improved

    Smarter redirect rules

    • Redirect rules now combine scheduling, geo, device, and A/B splits on a single code.
    • Password protection, expiry dates, and scan limits can be layered on top of any rule set.
    • Redirects got 38% faster on average, even with rules applied.
  5. Fixed

    Designer polish and export fixes

    • Fixed EPS exports rendering rounded modules as squares in some print workflows.
    • Logo knockout now respects the quiet zone at every error-correction level.
    • Dark-mode preview no longer washes out low-contrast brand palettes.
  6. New

    Folders, tags, and campaigns

    • Organise codes with folders and tags, and group them into campaigns with shared analytics.
    • Bulk operations: retarget, tag, or archive hundreds of codes at once.
    • CSV export for scans and campaign summaries.
